I guess I am a kind of person who can't stand with clutters and any kind of mess. I am not a clean freak but I just want to see my surroundings clean and organized. Our home back in the Philippines isn't big but it is clean. I remember my Mom used to tell me that it doesn't matter how small or simple your place is as long as it is clean and welcoming, you will have no problems entertaining your visitors.
That had marked on my mind and stayed on me until now that I am married and have a kid of my own. Sometimes it is overwhelming to pick up after their mess (my husband, our dog, and my son) so there are times I could use my undesirable power just to get things done and in order. Anyways, going through the real reason why I am telling you something about cleaning it is because I have actually proven through my own experience how wonderful does baking soda works. It is amazing! I use it pretty much on everything from cooking to cleaning. I have been wandering and experimenting around looking for a bath tub cleaner and have even tried all kinds that's on the market but was never satisfied until I tried baking soda.
I actually use it for cleaning the floor tiles, removing crayons or pen writings on the wall, cleaning the pots, oven, and etc. There's actually tons of ways you can use this baking soda and I also use it for my canker sores which I often get when I am stressed. No side effects and of course, it's cheap!

Fred the Movie...too lame and stupid to watch!
I have watched "Fred the Movie" for the first time yesterday. To be honest, I gave it a benefit of the doubt and watched it for an hour only to conclude that I just wasted my whole darn hour watching it. I think this movie is senseless, worthless, so lame, and stupid! Definitely not ideal for any kids! I don't understand why this kid, Fred, has to scream the whole time-freakin' annoying voice! It sounds like he was being stuck on a needle.
Geez, NickJr. should find something worthy for the audience especially the kids like Dora, Diego, UmiZoomi, and many others just not this, "Fred the Movie".

5th after 4th
How's everybody doing? Hope everyone had a great 4th!
The fireworks didn't start until 10:00 in the evening last night, so we went to see it. It was really supercool plus the perfect location we were, I think it was a little bonus. We brought along something to munch and we didn't even have to get out of the car. We just sat there watching and listening the whole time. Very content. Anyways, I think the only person that had the most to say is my son. He was sitting there blabbering the whole time. Asking questions and praising the fireworks everytime they go off. He was so amazed! I think this is the first time he actually absorbed it. Last year we went he was too little that he slept it out before 9:00 o'clock.
I'm pretty sure next year would be more exciting for him again and hopefully it will be the 4 of us there watching. Enjoy the rest of your week fellas!

Animal hoarding
Author: Dorsey Velasquez
I am fascinated with shows about hoarders that can be found on a couple of different networks but the shows about animal hoarders are especially interesting. Animal Planet has a program called Confessions of an Animal Hoarder that features the most extreme cases. I watched an episode on satellite TV, that I got after seeing these http://www.tvbydirect.com/, last night that featured a woman with eight-nine cats.
Anyone with a cat knows that it will claim the house as its own. Of course a house with almost a hundred cats is certainly not fit for a person but animal hoarders don't seem to notice the circumstances they live in. Even more surprising is that these hoarders often don't live alone. The other family members seem to recognize that there is a problem but just don't seem to have the energy to do anything about it.
It seems that most of the hoarders have good intentions and a love of animals that spiral out of control. The problem of course is that the hoarder and the animals end up living in horrendous conditions. Thankfully each hoarder is paired with a therapist to get at the root of their compulsion and with animal welfare workers to get control of their animal population. I am always happy to see the animals getting away but wonder if the hoarder will just go out and get some more.

Catching up on Christmas
Merry merry Christmas to you all! I know I am a day late but hey, we are still in the Christmas season. I hope that each one of you had indeed a very happy Christmas. My Christmas was wonderful, we celebrated our Christmas Eve at a close-friend's house and a dinner with the family on Christmas day. We had a great time with them too, though we missed my sister-in law and her husband physically, (my spouse's brother) we still had them on skype while opening our presents which is great. They have just moved to Colorado and I wish to visit down there soon!
On the other hand, I do missed the Christmas in the Philippines. There is always something out there that's just unique from the other countries. I once told my co-workers about how we celebrate Christmas down there, I said that you usually start hearing all kinds of Christmas songs by the month of September and some people would even start putting up their decorations by then too. I hope that I(we) would be able to celebrate Christmas with my family and friends again in the coming years.
And, just a little personal story from me to tell you about my presents that I get this year, were a pair of ugg boots and a white gold diamond necklace from my bokchok. Wohooo! It was a surprise and it really was. My bokchok and I were not the greatest couple in the world, like others, we also have ups and downs. He is not perfect and so do I but I sure love him to pieces. He's older son was here today too so our Christmas was actually complete.
To wrap up, last year's Christmas was great and this year's even better. My only wish is to stay close with the family(s) all the time, for no matter what happen they will always be your family. Each may have differences but they are your blood and they have yours, the only thing that never fades and diminish!

@ 12:41 in the AM
Wow! It has been such a long time that I have not visited my spot here. I didn't realized it for almost 2 months! That is just crazy! Well, I haven't really been crazy crazy busy but just enough to made me lost of some things that I needed to do plus this facebook thing. Ugh! :)
Anyways, it's Christmas already! Not yet? But hey, what's 10 days more to you? That sure is not very long anymore. I am not done with my Christmas shopping yet, just so you know. I need to complete my list yet by this weekend or early next week. There'll be some more catching up's to do for sure.
It felt like it has been a decade already since the last time I was here. Should think of keeping this spot updated if I wanted to make use of the 10 bucks that I paid to keep this up and running continuously. What a waste, huh?
And so, about my work I think it's doing good. There are days that's a little slower but it always pick up in some days. I guess, we can't really expect much with the economy right now. I just hope it wasn't this bad. I have an earlier shift tomorrow, so I guess I need to go "ta ta" for now and hope I will have some time to stop in here before Christmas too!
Goodbye and have a wonderful evening!

Friday night
So, I thought by now I would be driving my new baby but I was wrong. The vehicle that I really like didn't turn out to be the best for me. I will be looking for another one for sure and look for more other options as well.
Anyways, I had a great day today. It was a busy day but I had fun too. The storm is already over, so everything is working good now and set. I'll be working tomorrow and possibly until 1:00pm so I am hoping that I will remember to pull out my key inside the ignition this time before I'll take off to the door. That was really pretty stupid of me to forget it last week. I just thought I had it on my purse the whole time. But when I looked inside the van, there the ignition was still eating my key! Ugh! So, I had to call the towing company and paid 35 bucks for it. Not a good thing, I tell you!
I guess it's time to say good night again, huh, fellas? Yeah, I do hope you're having a wonderful night out there! Later again!!

Unico Mijo
I have already done some visiting for a few minutes and I think I am now ready to hit the sack or maybe do some dish cleaning first.
But before that I'll show you some photos of my unico mijo. He's such a very inquisitive little person and likes to uncover everything he can. So, here are some of his new shots. Hope you enjoy them as I will go ahead and get some good night dreams! Hope you'll have one as well! Take care!

So, I have been anticipating of getting my own car for months and tomorrow by God's will, it will come to a reality. This would be my first ever, out from my own sweat and hard labor. To be honest, I am a little nervous but I am hoping that God is with me on this one.
I won't be working until three tomorrow so I'll have a chance to stop by at the dealership and test drive my new baby. No one knows about this yet except myself and some people at work. My husband and I is not in good terms right now, so he'll know it when he sees it.
I am really excited about this and a little freaky as well. I hope everything will be okay.

Gloomy monday on my desk
Hello guys! Hope everybody is doing great and is ready for the winter. As for me, I'm not quiet ready yet but I am enjoying this cool weather we're having. I think it's just perfect and I am actually beginning to get rid of our electric fan.
I have lived in the Philippines for half of my life but because I am now living in a place where you experience extreme coldness, mild and hot summer. I think I am now in a position that I can differentiate the ideal weather and a so not ideal.
But, you know we as a human being sometimes could just easily get to adjust and adapt to the environment whether it's by nature or man made. When I got here, adapting the reality of the situation took me years to get used to. I was just thankful that homesickness didn't strike me much, I really thought it would be so hard for me to live in a place where you knew nobody. But actually, I was even more excited to discover the other side of the world and teach myself a little more independence, away from my parents and friends.
Anyways, I have my winter garments out and ready for six months. For my good spouse and sweet son, I'd have to do some shopping for them yet especially that Allen has outgrown his 24M sizes clothes that I bought a year ago and he's only 18 months. Oh, good grief!
So, have a wonderful week everyone and enjoy your day!
